Paris – Publicis Groupe reported on February 2, 2023, that it achieved a second consecutive year of double-digit organic growth in 2022. The company's net revenue rose by 20%, with organic growth reaching 10.1% for the full year, including a 9.4% increase in the fourth quarter.

CEO Arthur Sadoun stated that 2022 was another record year for the group, highlighting the company's transformation and the growing contribution of data and technology, which now represent one-third of its revenue. Epsilon and Publicis Sapient contributed with 12% and 19% organic growth, respectively.

Geographically, the United States market grew by 10%, Asia Pacific by 6.5%, and Europe by 12.3% over the year. Publicis Groupe also secured the top position in new business rankings for the fourth time in five years, indicating an expansion of market share.

The operational margin stood at 18.0%, and the diluted headline earnings per share increased by 26% to €6.35. The group generated a free cash flow of €1.7 billion and proposed a dividend of €2.90 per share for 2022.

Looking ahead to 2023, Publicis Groupe anticipates organic growth between 3% and 5%, with an operational margin expected to remain strong at 17.5% to 18%. The company expressed confidence in its outlook, citing its unique platform-based model and offerings amidst global economic uncertainties.
