Publicis Groupe to Report Q1 Revenue on April 23

Publicis Groupe will publish its first-quarter revenue on April 23, 2020, before market open. The communications holding company stated that it is withdrawing its financial guidance until further notice due to the unprecedented economic uncertainty stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company noted that the global impact of the pandemic makes it difficult to accurately predict advertising and marketing spend. Publicis Groupe's Chairman and CEO Arthur Sadoun emphasized the company's focus on employee safety, with 95% of its global workforce equipped for remote work.

Revenues at the end of February were in line with the company's 2020 roadmap, Publicis Groupe indicated. The group stated it will continue to protect the interests of its stakeholders and rigorously manage costs during this period.

Publicis Groupe is a global leader in communications, operating across marketing transformation and digital business transformation. The company has a presence in over 100 countries and employs approximately 114,000 professionals.
