Pudu Robotics enters home automation market with PUDU TOMO S series
Pudu Robotics has unveiled the PUDU TOMO S robotic lawnmower series, featuring automated blade sharpening. The launch marks the company's shift from commercial robotics to consumer-grade home maintenance.

Commercial robotics firm Pudu Robotics has announced the PUDU TOMO S series, a line of robotic lawnmowers that introduces automated maintenance to the residential sector. The units feature a proprietary SharpLoop system, designed to sharpen rotary blades automatically during the charging cycle to maintain cutting performance without manual intervention.
The company is leveraging its background in deploying robotics for corporate clients, including major retailers and hospitality chains, to support the new residential hardware. According to the company, the PUDU TOMO S utilizes the same navigation and motion-control architecture developed for its commercial fleet, adapted for complex outdoor environments.
CEO Felix Zhang stated that the series aims to reduce routine lawn care tasks by integrating heavy-duty cutting performance with autonomous upkeep. With all-wheel-drive capabilities and specialized edge-cutting technology, the company seeks to compete in the growing market for sophisticated residential maintenance tools.
