Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation to Host Patient Education Symposium

The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) is organizing a virtual education symposium on November 12–13, 2026. This two-day event is designed for patients, caregivers, family members, and others affected by pulmonary fibrosis (PF) and interstitial lung disease (ILD).

The symposium aims to provide participants with practical guidance and access to reliable information, including updates on research, treatment options, supplemental oxygen management, and coping with loss. The virtual format allows attendees to connect with experts and the PF and ILD community remotely.

Session topics will cover the latest advancements in PF and ILD research, treatment and daily care strategies, decision-making for care, navigating life after diagnosis and lung transplant, and resources for grief and loss.

PFF's broader mission involves connecting individuals impacted by pulmonary fibrosis with expert care, education, research, and community support. The foundation operates a national Care Center Network, offers resources for newly diagnosed patients, facilitates support groups, and engages in research through initiatives like the PFF Community Registry.
