Pvolve and Jennifer Aniston Launch New Fitness Category for Healthy Aging

NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 – Fitness company Pvolve and actress Jennifer Aniston have launched Movement Longevity, a new category of fitness dedicated to healthy aging. The initiative aims to build and maintain the strength, mobility, and stability necessary for individuals to live fully and move freely throughout their lives.

The launch coincides with Pvolve's first Movement Longevity Report. This study highlights a significant gap between women's awareness of strength training's importance for aging and their ability to act on it. Findings indicate that 66% of women have never been advised by a doctor or trainer on how to start weight training, with 56% citing a lack of knowledge as their primary barrier.

The report also points to muscle health as a neglected area. While bone density screenings increase with age, assessments for muscle mass and strength remain low. Dr. Nima Alamdari, Chief Clinical Advisor at Pvolve, stated that age-related muscle loss is a critical, yet under-recognized, factor in frailty, falls, and loss of independence for women, suggesting it should be monitored like other vital signs.

Jennifer Aniston, who found Pvolve's approach to strength training enjoyable and unintimidating, is releasing a 30-day training program on the company's on-demand platform. This program offers a practical starting point for women seeking to incorporate weight training into their routines. Aniston shared that Pvolve demonstrated how weight training can be a whole-body, efficient, and fun activity, leading to noticeable improvements in body composition.
