Hefei, China – Pylontech commenced mass production of its 588 Ah and 601 Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells at its Hefei facility on September 21. The cells are designed for use in energy storage systems (ESS).
The introduction of these higher-capacity cells signifies Pylontech's strategy to broaden its product portfolio and address the growing demand within the ESS market. Previously, the company primarily manufactured smaller-capacity LFP cells.
