Pyramid Computer Marks 40 Years in IT Solutions

Pyramid Computer GmbH, a German IT solutions provider, is marking its 40th anniversary in 2024. The company has focused on technological advancement and delivering IT solutions throughout its history.

Historically, Pyramid Computer introduced the BenHur server in 1998, noted as the world's first Linux-based multifunctional server, receiving the Innovation Award of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 2000. A subsequent iteration, BenHur 2, also garnered industry recognition, including the CyberOne Award.

At the recent EuroCIS trade fair, the company unveiled the POLYTOUCH® PIXI 15.6, a compact self-service kiosk. This unit, designed for retail, food service, and healthcare sectors, is presented as a space-saving solution for self-ordering and self-checkout functions.

The company states its strategy involves focusing on market needs and future-proof technologies, a commitment reflected in various awards received over its four decades of operation.
