Qingdao Co-Nele Launches Integrated Mixing and Granulation System for Catalyst Production
Qingdao Co-Nele has introduced an integrated manufacturing solution that combines the mixing and granulation of resin catalysts into a single automated process.

Qingdao Co-Nele Machinery has launched a new range of processing units designed to handle the production of resin catalysts, ion exchange resins, and functional powders. By performing homogeneous mixing and pellet granulation within a single chamber, the machine eliminates the need for intermediate material transfer, which often causes pellet breakage and contamination in conventional multi-stage production setups.
The equipment line ranges from 500ml laboratory models for R&D to 12,000-liter units intended for large-scale industrial output. The process utilizes 3D turbulent high-shear mixing followed by variable-speed granulation, allowing operators to tune pellet size and surface smoothness by adjusting rotor speed and dwell time.
To facilitate adoption, the company operates a testing center where manufacturers can validate recipes on a lab scale. This validation process aims to streamline the transition from development to automated mass production, ensuring that parameters established at the pilot stage remain stable at industrial volumes.
