Qualcomm expands AI Hub platform to China
Qualcomm has launched its AI Hub for Chinese developers, providing access to tools for building on-device generative AI and intelligent agent applications.
Qualcomm has officially opened its AI Hub platform to developers in China. The move is designed to support the local software ecosystem in creating and optimizing generative AI applications that function directly on hardware, rather than relying exclusively on cloud processing.
The platform provides a repository of over 230 pre-optimized models, a workbench for fine-tuning models on cloud-hosted physical devices, and reference applications for integration. It also incorporates the GenieX inference framework to assist in deploying AI functionality within end-user software.
Developers in the region can access these resources through Qualcomm’s official website, a local device farm, and dedicated technical forums. By providing these tools, the company aims to accelerate the deployment of on-device AI capabilities across the Chinese market.
