Qualcomm Updates Snapdragon Control Center

Qualcomm has released a new version, 2026.2.0.0, of its Snapdragon Control Center application. The update focuses on improving driver management and user gaming experience on Windows PC devices equipped with Snapdragon chips.

The Snapdragon Control Center serves as a central utility, allowing users to manage performance, update drivers, and monitor system metrics. It supports various hardware functionalities, including graphics, compute, and artificial intelligence.

Key improvements in the new version include native updates for Hexagon NPU drivers, enabling users to install the latest drivers directly through the application. Additionally, game optimization has been enhanced for faster launch times and improved stability, reducing configuration mismatches. The game library navigation has also been redesigned for greater clarity and intuitive interaction.

The update also introduces interface simplifications, such as the removal of a top-level back button and larger touch targets within help dialogs. Feedback on the application's own update status has also been refined for clearer, more direct information.
