The publication focuses on commercially viable applications within quantum computing, such as quantum chemistry and graph analysis, and assesses their future scalability.
The paper aligns these applications with Quantinuum's hardware development roadmap and analyzes how advancements in quantum hardware and algorithms could impact the feasibility of practical industrial applications. The research specifically targets quantum chemistry for new material and energy research, and topological data analysis for applications like fraud detection in telecommunications.
