Quebec Ministry of Health Certifies Voxira AI Voice Agent

Montreal, QC โ€“ December 16, 2025 โ€“ Secai, the parent company of Voxira, announced its autonomous AI voice agent, Voxira, has received official certification from the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS). This makes Voxira the first and only AI voice agent to achieve this recognition in the province, having held TGV certification since August 2025.

The certification verifies that Voxira meets provincial authorities' highest standards for system reliability, data governance, and information security. This allows for the deployment of the system across public and private healthcare clinics in Quebec without regulatory barriers.

"This is a historic moment not only for Secai but for healthcare digitization across Quebec," said Dr Ragui Ibrahim, President & CEO of Secai. "Becoming the first AI voice agent approved by the Ministry of Health demonstrates that advanced automation can be deployed responsibly, securely, and at scale. Quebec now has a pathway to modernize patient access, reduce administrative workload, and improve the care experience."

Already in active use at clinics in Canada and the U.S., Voxira handles real-time patient phone interactions using a natural, human-like voice and advanced reasoning. The AI agent manages appointment booking, answers frequently asked questions, handles call overflow, and provides 24/7 multilingual support in over 43 languages. With TGV certification, Voxira is also the only solution in Quebec approved for direct integration with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Voxira was engineered to exceed government-level protections for patient data encryption, role-based access control, and secure EMR connectivity. The platform is HIPAA-compliant and meets Canada's PIPEDA data privacy requirements.
