Qued and Don Hummer Trucking Automate Appointment Scheduling
Qued, a developer of AI-powered scheduling solutions, has partnered with Don Hummer Trucking. The new system automates the logistics firm's appointments, having confirmed over 10,000 bookings.

Qued, a developer of automated appointment scheduling solutions for supply chain and logistics companies, has announced a partnership with Don Hummer Trucking Corporation. The family-owned, Iowa-based carrier has implemented Qued's Smart Appointments platform to automate its scheduling operations.
The company reports that over 10,000 appointments have been confirmed through Qued's system. Email-based scheduling, a primary method for the carrier, has seen a success rate of 98.8 percent. Qued's platform is designed to select optimal appointment slots in real time, considering factors such as estimated times of arrival, facility capacity, and historical performance data.
According to Jake Von Feldt, Vice President of Finance at Don Hummer Trucking, the system has relieved the company's staff of manual work that previously consumed significant time. "Qued quietly handles it in the background," Von Feldt stated. "Confirmations happen, trucks keep moving, and our people stay focused on drivers and customers."
Don Hummer Trucking has operated as a family-owned carrier for over 70 years. The company joins Qued's growing roster of clients, which includes various transportation firms across North America.
Qued provides a cloud-based, AI-powered workflow automation platform aimed at transforming load appointment scheduling for brokers, 3PLs, and carriers. The system's objective is to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
