QuikStor and StorageDefender integrate facility management software
Self-storage software provider QuikStor and technology firm StorageDefender have announced an integration to automate the management and monitoring of smart storage units.

StorageDefender and QuikStor have launched a software integration that links unit-level activity alerts and tenant subscriptions directly to the QuikStor facility management platform. The move aims to consolidate operational tasks for self-storage facility owners, allowing them to manage smart unit enrollments without exiting their primary management software.
By integrating the two systems, operators can automate subscription changes and access unit-level analytics within a unified interface. According to the companies, this system is intended to simplify the deployment of unit-level monitoring technologies, which provide operational visibility and potential recurring revenue streams.
Tony Gardner, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at QuikStor, stated that the integration addresses industry demand for greater visibility into individual units. StorageDefender representative Mark Somers added that the system was developed to reduce the complexity of managing smart storage equipment. The firms will demonstrate the integration at the upcoming Texas Self Storage Association Conference.
