QuikStor integrates StorageDefender for unit-level monitoring
QuikStor has integrated StorageDefender's smart unit technology into its facility management platform, allowing operators to monitor unit activity and generate recurring service revenue.
Management software provider QuikStor has completed a new integration with StorageDefender to incorporate unit-level intelligence into its platform. The update enables self-storage operators to monitor individual units for motion, temperature, and humidity through their existing software interface.
The system is designed to provide real-time alerts to tenants while allowing facility owners to monetize the monitoring service. Because the technology functions independently of gate access or traditional alarm infrastructure, operators can deploy the sensors across their facilities without major hardware retrofits.
"We aim to provide tools that deliver both operational efficiency and revenue growth," said Tony Gardner, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at QuikStor. The integration is currently available for all QuikStor customers, providing centralized visibility through the company's existing web portal.
