Quimbaya Gold Confirms Copper-Molybdenum System at Tahami Center

Quimbaya Gold has confirmed the presence of a copper-molybdenum porphyry system at its Tahami Center project in British Columbia. The company announced that drill hole TCDH-006 intersected 563 meters of potassic alteration and copper-bearing porphyry veining, including 150 meters of intramineral porphyry.

The findings suggest a significant mineralized zone within the project area. Potassic alteration is a common geological indicator associated with large copper-molybdenum porphyry deposits, which are significant sources of these metals globally.

Assay results are pending, but the initial geological observations are considered promising. Quimbaya Gold has been focused on evaluating the Tahami Center's exploration potential through its drilling campaigns.

Further drilling and metallurgical studies will be required to determine the extent and economic viability of the identified mineralization. Copper and molybdenum are critical industrial metals used in various applications, including electronics and construction.
