Raising Cane's Plans Seven New Restaurant Openings in August

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers will open seven new restaurants and reopen three remodeled locations in August, the company confirmed. The expansion marks a significant step as the fast-casual chain approaches its 30th anniversary later this month.

Two new restaurants are scheduled to open on Monday, August 3, 2026: one in Novi, Michigan, and another in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The remaining new locations will be unveiled throughout August.

The chain, which began with its first location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on August 28, 1996, has seen rapid growth. In March, it celebrated the opening of its 1,000th store along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Raising Cane's has been actively expanding, with multiple new and reopened locations in recent months. The company has stated a goal to operate over 1,600 restaurants in the United States by the end of the decade, aiming to become a top 10 U.S. restaurant brand.

The company is known for its chicken fingers, signature sauce, and focused menu, attracting a dedicated following. The expansion aligns with a broader trend of popularity for protein-centric fast-casual concepts among younger demographics like Gen Z and millennials.
