Rasmus Järborg Appointed CEO of Nordnet

Rasmus Järborg officially took over as the Chief Executive Officer of Nordnet on April 1, 2026, succeeding Lars-Åke Norling. Norling has been proposed for a new role as a board member and Vice Chair of the Board. Alongside this leadership transition, Nordnet has formed a new business area, Wealth Management, and expanded its executive management team by four members.

Järborg joined Nordnet in 2018 and previously served as Chief Product Officer, overseeing the company's product offerings across the Nordics and leading the development of its website and app. He brings extensive financial industry experience from previous roles, including over a decade at SEB and nine years at UBS in London.

"I look forward to continuing to develop Nordnet and, together with the organization, execute the strategy that the management and Board have established for Nordnet’s continued growth," stated Järborg. Key priorities he highlighted include the German market launch, the next generation of trading services, and the integration of AI.

The newly formed Wealth Management division will encompass Nordnet's fund business and the development of its Private Banking concept. Alexander Frick will lead this new unit. The expansion of the executive team aims to streamline operations and accelerate the pace of innovation to better meet customer needs.
