Raytron OEM Showcased Infrared Imaging for Industrial Automation at VISION 2026
Raytron OEM presented new SWIR cameras and LWIR thermal imaging cores at the VISION 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart. The solutions aim to enhance industrial automation and machine vision systems.

Raytron OEM presented its latest short-wave infrared (SWIR) cameras and long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imaging modules at the VISION 2026 trade fair, held in Stuttgart from October 6-8. The exhibition highlighted practical infrared components designed to help local manufacturers and integrators improve their industrial automation and machine vision systems.
Hands-on demonstrations showcased SWIR imaging applications, such as differentiating materials like sugar from salt, and enabling food sorting and moisture detection. Featured products included the NS-615AS-10GE SWIR camera, offering 640x512 resolution and a 10GigE interface with full frame acquisition up to 825 frames per second, suitable for semiconductor inspection and material sorting. The NS-615A-GE (area scan) and NS-101L2 (linear scan) SWIR cameras were also displayed, providing various acquisition formats and interface options.
For original equipment manufacturers integrating thermal imaging into their products, the SE5 1280 thermal imaging module offers 1280x1024 resolution in a compact form factor with multiple digital interfaces. Complementing this, the WN2T series temperature measurement modules combine non-contact temperature measurement with compact dimensions and low power consumption. These components provide OEM developers with reliable solutions for embedding thermal imaging and temperature analysis into industrial inspection and monitoring equipment.
On October 8, Fushuai Liu, Head of Europe and Americas at Raytron, delivered a presentation titled "How Infrared Perception Shapes Industrial Vision in Europe" at the Industrial VISION Days. Drawing on Raytron's white paper on thermal safety for electric vehicle lithium-ion batteries, he addressed battery safety, process quality, and traceability in the context of European battery regulations. His presentation outlined a three-level thermal vision framework combining thermal imaging hardware, data analysis and management, and integration with existing factory control and safety systems. Application examples included the TN460U ultra-high temperature thermal camera for battery safety testing and the TN430/TN460 inline thermal cameras for monitoring die-casting mold temperatures.
Through product demonstrations and technical exchanges, Raytron OEM reaffirmed its commitment to supporting European industrial automation with infrared solutions tailored to local inspection and monitoring needs.
