Raytron OEM Showcases Infrared Imaging Solutions for Industrial Automation
Raytron OEM presented new short-wave (SWIR) and long-wave (LWIR) infrared imaging modules at VISION 2026 in Stuttgart. The solutions are designed to enhance industrial automation and machine vision systems.

Raytron OEM presented new short-wave (SWIR) and long-wave (LWIR) infrared imaging modules at the VISION 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart, held from October 6-8. The exhibition highlighted infrared components intended to help local manufacturers and integrators improve their industrial automation and machine vision systems.
Practical demonstrations of SWIR cameras showcased material differentiation and moisture detection capabilities, such as distinguishing between sugar and salt and comparing dry versus moist cookie samples. Among the products displayed was the NS-615AS-10GE SWIR camera, featuring a 640 × 512 resolution with a 10GigE interface, operating at full frame rates up to 825 fps, suitable for applications like semiconductor inspection and material sorting. The NS-615A-GE area-scan SWIR camera and the NS-101L2 line-scan SWIR camera were also presented for various automation setups.
For thermal imaging solutions, the SE5 1280 module offers a 1,280 × 1,024 resolution, a compact design, and multiple digital interfaces. The WN2T series of thermal measurement modules combine non-contact temperature measurement with compact dimensions and low power consumption. These products provide OEM developers with reliable options for incorporating thermal imaging and temperature analysis into industrial inspection and monitoring equipment.
On October 8, Fushuai Liu, Raytron's Director for Europe and America, presented on how "infrared perception is transforming industrial machine vision in Europe." His presentation addressed battery safety and process quality in the context of the European Battery Regulation, drawing on Raytron's white paper regarding the thermal safety of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. Liu outlined a three-layer thermal perception framework combining thermal imaging hardware, analysis and data management, and integration with existing plant control and safety systems. Application examples included the ultra-high temperature TN460U camera for battery safety testing and the TN430/TN460 inline thermal cameras for monitoring die-casting mold temperatures. This approach enables continuous monitoring, tiered alerts, and traceable thermal records to enhance on-site safety management.
Through product demonstrations and technical exchanges, Raytron OEM reaffirmed its commitment to supporting European industrial automation with infrared solutions tailored to local inspection and monitoring needs.
