Razer has launched its Barracuda V2 Pro wireless gaming headset in the United States, priced at $199.99. The headset weighs 285 grams and features a foldable design for portability and storage.

Audio is delivered through Razer's TriForce Bio-cellulose 40mm drivers, designed for clear highs, distinct mids, and distortion-free lows. When connected to a PC, the headset supports THX Spatial Audio+, providing 7.1.4 virtual surround sound. It also incorporates hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC) utilizing inward and outward-facing microphones to reduce ambient noise.

The headset offers up to 70 hours of battery life with ANC off, and approximately 50 hours with ANC enabled. A 15-minute charge provides about six hours of use. Connectivity options include Razer HyperSpeed Wireless 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 6.0, with the ability to connect to both simultaneously for gaming and mobile communication. An intelligent switch button facilitates quick toggling between wireless modes, and the 2.4GHz receiver can be stored magnetically within the ear cup.

A significant upgrade is the dual-microphone system. It includes a detachable HyperClear Cardioid Shotgun microphone for gaming and voice chat, and an integrated beamforming microphone for mobile use, offering a cleaner aesthetic. Both microphone configurations employ AI-driven noise suppression. Reviews from Tom's Guide noted good comfort and ANC performance but found the microphone quality and material feel did not fully meet expectations for the price point. GamesRadar highlighted the practical value of the integrated receiver storage design.
