RBC and Seaspan launch financial literacy program for Canadian students
RBC and Seaspan have partnered with Everfi to provide a digital financial education platform to students in grades 4-8 across Canada.

RBC and Seaspan announced on October 29, 2026, that they are expanding a financial literacy initiative titled 'Dollars + Sense' to classrooms nationwide. The program, developed in partnership with educational technology firm Everfi, targets students in grades 4 through 8.
The digital platform aims to provide instruction on basic financial management, including budgeting and saving. The initiative follows a pilot project conducted in British Columbia, which according to the companies, demonstrated an improvement in students' financial confidence.
Financial literacy education has increasingly become a priority for Canadian corporations seeking to address gaps in youth personal finance skills. By integrating digital modules into the curriculum, RBC and Seaspan intend to provide educators with accessible tools for standard classroom instruction.
The program is currently being rolled out to schools across Canada, with the partners aiming to reach a broad demographic of middle-school-aged students in the coming academic year.
