Reach Capital Raises $265 Million for Fifth Investment Fund

Reach Capital has announced the closing of its fifth investment vehicle, a $265 million fund focused on startups in the learning, health, and work sectors. The firm, founded in 2015, now oversees nearly $1 billion in total assets under management.

The firm plans to deploy the new capital across approximately 50 companies, targeting pre-seed, seed, and Series A funding rounds. While originally focused solely on K-12 education technology, Reach Capital has pivoted its mandate to include health and workforce development, leveraging its experience in navigating highly regulated institutional markets.

According to partner James Kim, the firm applies a strategy honed in the education sector to healthcare and labor markets, focusing on businesses that improve access to essential services. Since its inception, Reach Capital has backed more than 180 companies, including ClassDojo and Replit. The firm continues to emphasize impact-driven investments, prioritizing models that address systemic barriers in human development.
