Rebel Foods Narrows FY26 Loss, Boosts Revenue

Foodtech unicorn Rebel Foods has announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2026 (FY26), showing a 16.3% decrease in net loss to ₹281.8 crore, down from ₹336.6 crore in the previous fiscal year. Concurrently, the company's operating revenue saw a 20.7% rise, reaching ₹1,951.6 crore.

The revenue growth was primarily driven by product sales, which increased by 20.9% to ₹1,891.9 crore. Service revenue, encompassing commissions and franchise income, remained relatively flat at ₹32.7 crore. International revenue demonstrated significant growth, climbing 38.8% year-on-year to ₹283.8 crore, contributing 14.5% to the total revenue.

Rebel Foods attributed the performance to strengthened consumer engagement and operational improvements across store operations, technology, and supply chain management, which led to higher productivity and margin expansion. The company also reported a narrowed EBITDA loss, which fell by approximately 50% to ₹62.4 crore.

Operating over 45 brands across India, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, Rebel Foods has secured substantial funding and is focused on enhancing its unit economics and moving towards profitability. This strategic recalibration is seen as preparation for a potential public listing.
