Redwood AI renames platform Reactosphere, appoints Dr. Mark Dybul as advisor
Redwood AI has renamed its AI-powered chemical synthesis platform Reactosphere and appointed Dr. Mark Dybul as its Public Safety & Defense Advisor.

Vancouver, Canada – Redwood AI has renamed its proprietary AI-powered chemical synthesis platform Reactosphere. Formerly known as SythesAltzer, the platform has evolved beyond generating synthesis routes to become a broader intelligence system supporting applications across multiple industries.
The platform utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to model complex chemical synthesis and reactions. Its expanded application areas now include life sciences, healthcare, public safety, biosecurity, and defense technologies.
The company also announced the appointment of Dr. Mark R. Dybul as Public Safety & Defense Advisor. Dr. Dybul is a physician, scientist, and internationally recognized public health leader with over two decades of experience in infectious disease research and global health policy. He previously served as the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and led the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
In his new role, Dr. Dybul will provide strategic guidance on the platform's potential use cases for addressing challenges in global health systems, public health preparedness, biosecurity, and national security.
