REGAL Estate Launches Tool-Free Window Shade System
REGAL Estate has introduced the QuickInsta TensionLock cellular shade, utilizing a tension-fit mechanism that requires no drilling or hardware for installation.

Lawrenceville-based REGAL Estate has released its new TensionLock window shades, designed to be installed without the use of drills, screws, or mounting brackets. The product relies on a tension-fit mechanism that locks the headrail into the window frame via an adjustable knob, targeting a consumer segment seeking temporary or non-invasive home improvement options.
To ensure structural integrity without permanent hardware, the shades feature reinforced aluminum rails and non-slip pads. Independent testing conducted by Bureau Veritas verified that the system maintained its functionality through 3,000 operating cycles, which the company estimates represents approximately eight years of daily use.
The TensionLock system is part of REGAL Estate’s broader QuickInsta collection, which focuses on simplified mounting methods including magnetic and adhesive approaches. The product is available in both light-filtering and blackout fabric variations, with a design that eliminates dangling cords to align with safety standards.
