Reinfeld "Auto und Freizeit" Receivership: Customer Claims Deadline Passes

The deadline for customers to submit their claims to the insolvent mobile home manufacturer "Auto und Freizeit" in Reinfeld passed on Thursday. A "low double-digit" number of customers filed eligible claims with the receivership, according to the insolvency administrator speaking to NDR. Customers who have paid for their mobile homes but not yet received them were required to file by Thursday.

Those who missed the initial deadline can still submit claims, though a fee of 22 Euros will apply for late submissions. The insolvency administrator is continuing to work with manufacturers, financing banks, and customers in an effort to deliver already paid-for, undelivered mobile homes. The company filed for insolvency in November.
