Rejlers to develop tender documents for new switchboard in Katrineholm
Rejlers has been commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to produce tender documents for a new switchboard in Katrineholm. The facility will ensure a robust, long-term power supply to the railway.

Rejlers has received a commission from the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) to prepare tender documents for a new switchboard in Katrineholm.
The new facility is intended to ensure a robust and long-term power supply for railway operations. The conversion from the existing switchboard can be carried out without affecting train traffic, a critical aspect for maintaining operational continuity.
The existing switchboard in Katrineholm has reached the end of its technical lifespan. Concurrently, the overhead contact line system between Hallsberg and Sköldinge is undergoing reconstruction and conversion to an AT system. Katrineholm serves as a significant railway hub where lines converge.
The project aims to enhance the railway's power supply capacity and reliability, which is essential for supporting increased traffic volumes and ongoing modernization efforts within the Swedish rail network.
