Relais Group appoints Joonas Mäkipeska as Chief Financial Officer
Relais Group has appointed Joonas Mäkipeska as its new Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Management Team. He will take up the position no later than February 2027.
Relais Group Plc has appointed Joonas Mäkipeska (b. 1978) as the company's new Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Management Team. He is expected to assume the role no later than February 2027.
Mäkipeska joins Relais Group from Technopolis Plc, where he currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. He will report to the CEO upon commencing his new position.
Sebastian Seppänen, the current interim CFO, will continue in his role until Mäkipeska's arrival in February 2027. Seppänen will then transition to a strategic role within the Group Management Team, focusing on capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation, while continuing to report to the CEO.
The appointment is part of Relais Group's ongoing strategy to strengthen its leadership team. The company aims to drive growth and achieve its strategic objectives.
