The new large-scale data center in Rellingen, Pinneberg district, is nearing its operational phase. According to Rellingen's mayor, Marc Trampe, construction is proceeding as planned, and the first client has already installed its technology. The facility is being developed by the company dataR.

The project, spanning 8,500 square meters, has been under construction for approximately two and a half years with a total cost of 80 million euros. Mayor Trampe indicated that more clients are expected to come online soon and that a test operation will take place in the coming weeks.

The data center is slated for full live operation within a few months. This development is expected to boost the region's digital infrastructure, providing essential computing and storage capabilities for businesses and organizations.
