RentoMojo reports 142% profit increase for FY26, files for IPO

Indian rental startup RentoMojo has announced a significant financial turnaround, with its profit after tax (PAT) surging by 142% to ₹104.2 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26 (FY26). This marks a substantial increase from the ₹43.1 crore profit recorded in the previous fiscal year.

The company's revenue also saw healthy growth, with operating revenue climbing 46% to ₹387 crore in FY26, up from ₹266 crore in FY25. This top-line growth, combined with a one-time tax credit of ₹36.6 crore, contributed to the improved bottom line.

Alongside its financial results, RentoMojo, which is backed by investors like Accel and Bain Capital, has filed its draft red herring prospectus with India's market regulator for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The planned IPO includes a fresh issue of shares and an offer for sale component, potentially making RentoMojo the first listed Indian furniture rental startup.

The company operates a platform for subscription-based rentals of furniture, appliances, and home essentials, with 20 warehouses and 82 offline stores across 29 cities. At the end of March 2026, RentoMojo reported a portfolio of 8.5 lakh products and served 2.5 lakh active users in FY26.
