IT services company Reply has revealed the jury for the third edition of its AI Film Festival, an international competition for short films produced with artificial intelligence tools. The festival aims to showcase advancements at the intersection of human creativity and AI.
The jury will be led by Oscar-winning Italian director Gabriele Salvatores. Joining him are notable figures from the film industry, including Rob Minkoff, co-director of The Lion King, Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight, and film producer Christina Lee Storm. VFX supervisor Giacomo Mineo and film journalist Brian Welk are also part of the panel.
Under the theme "Imaginatio Nova" for 2026, the festival encourages exploration of imagination's new frontiers where human creativity is augmented by technology. The jury will evaluate submissions based on creativity, production quality, and the effective use of AI throughout the filmmaking process.
Special awards include the AI for Good Award, supporting films that highlight UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the Reply AI Studios Grand Prix for AI excellence. Finalist films will be screened at a premiere event in Venice in September, where the main winners will be announced.
