Valorem Reply, part of the Reply Group, has collaborated with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Microsoft to implement an AI-driven analytics system for the Billie Jean King Cup. This solution provides players and coaches with real-time match insights, improving strategy and decision-making.
The system utilizes Microsoft Azure's data and AI services. Data from high-speed cameras and court-level systems is processed in real-time within the cloud infrastructure. This grants coaches access to detailed statistics on serves, returns, hit points, and court coverage directly during matches.
Valorem Reply designed an application delivered on Microsoft Surface tablets. It features four key dashboards allowing coaches to monitor serve speeds, placements, return depths, and player movement on the court. Microsoft Copilot was integrated in 2025 to enable data exploration through natural language queries.
The objective of the solution was to enhance tactical analysis and coaching by providing advanced data directly courtside. This reduces reliance on traditional post-match analysis and allows for immediate strategic adjustments during play.
