Research Council of Norway grants Lytix Biopharma NOK 12 million for cancer therapy development
Lytix Biopharma has received NOK 12 million to advance the development of oncolytic molecule formulations designed for treating deep-seated tumors.

The Research Council of Norway has awarded Oslo-based Lytix Biopharma NOK 12 million to support the research and development of its immuno-oncology platform. The funding is provided through the Innovation Project for the Industrial Sector (IPN) scheme, a competitive national grant program.
Lytix intends to use the capital to develop new formulations of its oncolytic molecules. The goal is to create treatments suitable for intratumoral injections in patients with deep-seated tumors, which are often difficult to reach with conventional methods. This project represents a shift in focus toward enhancing the versatility of the company's existing clinical-stage therapies.
IPN grants are evaluated by independent experts based on technological merit and potential industrial impact. This funding will allow the company to move forward with the technical refinement of its drug candidates, aiming to expand the scope of its clinical applications in cancer treatment.
