Researcher Cha-Mei Tang Recognized for Advancements in Cancer Diagnostics
Creatv MicroTech founder Cha-Mei Tang has been inducted into the Inner Circle, marking her contributions to the development of blood-based cancer diagnostic technologies.

Cha-Mei Tang, founder of Creatv MicroTech, has received professional recognition for her development of diagnostic tools for oncology. Her work centers on the LifeTracDx blood test, which utilizes microfiltration technology to capture cancer-associated macrophage-like cells (CAMLs) from patient blood samples.
The technology aims to replace traditional tissue biopsies by providing insights into cancer staging, treatment response, and disease recurrence. By analyzing CAMLs—cells that engulf tumor cells—the system provides a method for detecting markers such as PD-L1 expression in real time, which can influence immunotherapy efficacy analysis.
Currently, Creatv MicroTech is focused on pursuing CLIA certification and FDA approvals for various diagnostic applications. The company continues its existing collaborations with pharmaceutical firms to support clinical drug performance assessments, aiming to transition the technology into standard clinical practice.
