REVA Medical Demonstrates MOTIV® Stent Procedure, Presents New Study Findings
REVA Medical showcased a successful live procedure using its MOTIV® stent for below-the-knee revascularization at the VIVA26 conference. New study analysis indicates higher efficacy rates for MOTIV® compared to balloon angioplasty.

REVA Medical successfully demonstrated a live interventional procedure using two of its MOTIV®Below-the-Knee stents for below-the-knee revascularization at the VIVA26 conference. The company reported the procedure was completed as intended.
In addition to the live demonstration, REVA Medical presented new analysis results from its study comparing the MOTIV® stent to balloon angioplasty. The analysis focused on patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) in both Rutherford category 4 and Rutherford category 5 classifications.
The findings indicated that the MOTIV® stent achieved higher rates on the primary efficacy endpoint in both Rutherford-4 and Rutherford-5 patient groups when compared to balloon angioplasty alone. This suggests a potential benefit of the stent in more challenging CLTI cases.
The MOTIV® stent is designed to treat challenging below-the-knee arterial lesions, which are often difficult to address with traditional methods and can lead to severe outcomes if left untreated.
REVA Medical continues to gather clinical data to further evaluate the long-term performance and safety of its technology in treating peripheral artery disease.
