The new ZDF crime drama "Solo für Weiss – Blackout" follows investigator Nora Weiss (Anna Maria Mühe) as she struggles to prove her innocence in a murder investigation she's become entangled in.
ZDF's crime drama "Solo für Weiss – Blackout" features investigator Nora Weiss (Anna Maria Mühe) finding herself the prime suspect in a murder case. Weiss awakens after a night out to a call at a crime scene, where she is shocked to recognize the victim, fitness influencer Sören Paulitz (Stefan König), as someone she spent the previous evening with.
The situation is complicated by Weiss's discovery of memory gaps regarding the night's events. To conceal her involvement and prove her innocence, she attempts to discreetly remove evidence, including her phone number from the victim's pocket and surveillance footage from the bar.
Meanwhile, Detective Kirsten Novak (Catrin Striebeck) makes progress in her investigation, soon identifying a potential suspect: Adam Zielinski (Aleksandar Radenkovic), who had a prior grievance with Paulitz. His subsequent flight only intensifies suspicion.
The investigation uncovers Paulitz's complex life, revealing other potential suspects, including his brother-in-law Tobias Sternberg, who reportedly had a strained relationship with his brother-in-law. Weiss must navigate this web of relationships to uncover the truth before time runs out.
