Revolut hits $115bn valuation in employee share sale

Fintech firm Revolut has achieved a valuation of $115 billion through a secondary share sale allocated to its employees. According to an internal staff message seen by Bloomberg, the price per share in this transaction is set at $2,017.

A Revolut spokesperson confirmed that a secondary share sale process is underway, but declined to comment on specific details while the process is ongoing, promising an update upon completion. This development aligns with earlier reports indicating that the fintech giant was considering a share sale in the latter half of the year, with a valuation target around $100 billion.

The current valuation brings Revolut closer to its previously stated goal of $200 billion for a potential stock market listing, anticipated around 2028. The deal could also significantly increase CEO Nik Storonsky's personal stake in the company, should certain valuation-related targets be met.

Revolut's last secondary share sale occurred in November, valuing the company at $75 billion. The prior year's valuation was $45 billion, indicating substantial growth over a short period.
