Revolut valuation reaches $115 billion following secondary share sale
Fintech firm Revolut has seen its valuation climb to $115 billion in a secondary share sale. The company is currently moving toward a 2027 launch of its banking operations in the United States.

A secondary share sale has pushed the valuation of London-based fintech company Revolut to $115 billion, a 53% increase compared to its valuation one year ago. Major investors involved in the transaction included Glade Brook Capital Partners, Coatue, Durable Capital Partners, and T. Rowe Price Associates. The sale did not involve new capital infusion into the company.
Revolut, founded in 2015, now reports a user base exceeding 80 million retail customers across more than 40 countries. The firm has expanded its footprint significantly this year, launching banking services in the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. A significant part of its current strategic focus is the U.S. market, where it has secured conditional approval to establish a national bank, with plans to commence operations in the first half of 2027.
Financially, Revolut reported $6 billion in revenue for 2025 with a 38% profit margin. While the company built its reputation on consumer-facing financial applications, its business banking division—launched in 2017—has become a core revenue driver, contributing roughly 20% of the company’s gross profit.
