Reworld Names Board Chair Howard L. Lance as CEO
Reworld has appointed current Board Chair Howard L. Lance as its new CEO, effective immediately. Outgoing CEO Azeez Mohammed will transition into an advisory role within the company and at EQT.
Waste management firm Reworld has announced a leadership transition, naming Howard L. Lance as its new chief executive officer. Lance, who has served as the company’s board chair since 2021, assumes the role immediately to oversee operations.
Azeez Mohammed, the outgoing CEO, will step down from his executive duties. He is set to continue his involvement with the firm as a senior advisor, while also taking on a position as an industrial advisor for the private equity firm EQT.
The leadership change follows Reworld's ongoing focus on scaling sustainable waste solutions. By moving the board chair into the executive seat, the company signals a continuity of strategy following recent corporate realignments.
