Reykjavik Art Museum – Hafnarhús is set to open a new exhibition titled "Tone" by artist Anna Fríða Jónsdóttir on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. The opening is scheduled for 5:00 PM.

The exhibition is the 33rd to be featured in the museum's D-Hall series, which began in 2007. The series aims to provide a platform for emerging artists to hold their first solo exhibition in a public art museum and to highlight new directions in the art world.

Anna Fríða Jónsdóttir, born in 1984, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2010 and a Master of Arts in Art and Science from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2013. The exhibition is curated by Klara Þórhallsdóttir. An artist talk, conducted in Icelandic, is scheduled for Thursday, April 12, at 8:00 PM.
