Pernod Ricard has renamed its corporate foundation to Pernod Ricard Foundation, effective July 1, 2020. The change reflects an increased international ambition and broader scope, moving beyond the former Ricard Corporate Foundation name. The foundation is expanding its activities and will relocate in Autumn 2020 to a new, multidisciplinary space in the Saint Lazare district, at the heart of Paris. This move aims to further promote young French contemporary art.

The expansion aligns with Pernod Ricard's strategy to accelerate its operations and reinforce its societal commitment. The new premises will feature a 130-seat auditorium and a 300m² exhibition space, facilitating more conferences, performances, and artistic events. Foundation Director Colette Barbier emphasized that artists will remain central to the foundation's project, with the new location envisioned as a vibrant hub for cultural exchange and encounters.

The Pernod Ricard Foundation will continue its annual art prize, with details to be unveiled on September 15. This award recognizes emerging French artists, and past recipients have received significant support for their projects and exhibitions, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

The foundation's origins trace back to founder Paul Ricard's early commitment to art and artists. Pernod Ricard underscores its belief that economic performance is inseparable from societal engagement.
