The software enables the generation of purchase orders and the import of external orders, promising improved accuracy, speed, and control over procurement workflows through automated approval processes. Rillion states this helps companies streamline their purchasing operations with flexible, automated workflows.

Users can create purchase requisitions, which are routed through automated approval workflows before a purchase order is generated and sent to the supplier. The system also facilitates automatic matching of incoming vendor invoices against POs, and includes an online shop feature for employees to procure goods from approved suppliers.

Traditionally, PO processes are described as lengthy and complex, involving significant back-and-forth communication and a risk of lost information.
