RIMOWA opens flagship store in Shanghai
LVMH-owned luggage manufacturer RIMOWA has launched a new flagship location in Shanghai's Kerry Center. The site marks the company's first implementation of its RE-CRAFTED repair and recycling program in China.
RIMOWA has expanded its retail presence in China with a new flagship store located in the Kerry Center in Shanghai. The 200-square-meter facility aims to provide specialized services to local consumers, including the introduction of the company's RE-CRAFTED program, which facilitates the repair and recycling of its aluminum luggage.
The new location also brings the 'Crafted for You' customization service to the region for the first time, allowing customers to specify dimensions for their Classic suitcases. The opening includes a limited-edition series of luggage designed with a gradient finish intended to reflect the Shanghai cityscape.
This move highlights RIMOWA's strategy to emphasize product longevity and after-sales support within the Chinese market. By integrating circularity initiatives alongside retail space, the brand continues to position its premium travel goods within the global luxury retail sector.
