Ritex Introduces Condoms with Water-Based Lubricant
Ritex GmbH has expanded its condom range with the launch of Ritex Aquaresse condoms, featuring a newly developed water-based lubricant film.
German condom manufacturer Ritex GmbH has introduced a new product to the market: Ritex Aquaresse condoms, which differentiate themselves with a water-based lubricant.
Most condoms on the market traditionally use a silicone oil-based lubricant. Ritex's new Ritex Aqua Gel® lubricant is developed to complement the body's natural moisture, aiming to provide a more natural feel during use. The company states that in a customer survey, 95 percent of condom users were convinced by the concept of a water-based glide coating.
"The test results show that our Aquaresse concept meets a large consumer demand," says CEO Robert Richter. "We are already planning new condom variations with Ritex Aqua Gel®."
Ritex manufactures all its condoms in Germany from the highest quality raw materials. The company emphasizes its products' dermatologically tested good skin compatibility and thorough quality control processes, including individual electronic testing of every condom. Ritex products also receive the MPA-TESTED mark through voluntary external supervision by the state material testing institute in Darmstadt.
