Rittal and Eaton Partner for Data Center Infrastructure Solutions

Rittal North America has announced a collaboration with power management company Eaton to strengthen data center system integration capabilities. The partnership aims to provide customers with a unified solution for data center infrastructure and on-site power components.

Eaton will supply its rackmount uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and power distribution units (PDU) to complement Rittal's Edge applications and micro-data center offerings. This integration creates a "one-stop-shop" for customers seeking robust infrastructure and power solutions.

The combined solutions aim to eliminate power disturbances and fluctuations, measure power consumption, and enable remote system monitoring. Rittal's pre-populated racks include key components such as racks, cooling, servers, network switches, along with Eaton's UPS and PDU units, offering customizable "data-center-in-a-box" solutions.

This collaboration addresses the growing demand for integrated and reliable solutions in data centers and edge computing, crucial for an increasingly digitized world.
