Rittal and Eplan Name Tobol Application Center Partner

Rittal and Eplan have established a new partnership with system integrator Tobol, which specializes in data center and building automation. The collaboration aims to merge core competencies from the industrial and IT sectors to meet the demands of the data center market.

Tobol utilizes Rittal and Eplan's software, hardware, and automation solutions at its advanced manufacturing facility in Leinefelde. The company serves prominent data center operators and critical infrastructure businesses across Germany and Europe, leveraging over 25 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, programming, and construction.

"Together with Eplan and Rittal, we can now interact even more closely and rapidly develop optimal products for our national and international customers," stated Tobias Funke, Managing Director at Tobol. Rittal representatives highlighted the partnership's role in industrializing and standardizing data center operations.

Tobol's production processes in Leinefelde are digitally integrated and highly automated. The company employs Eplan's design tools and Rittal Automation Systems hardware, such as the Perforex LC laser center, for direct utilization of production data. Rittal's enclosure systems, including VX25 and AX, have been in use for many years.

The partnership is intended to offer customers a real-time view of digitized value chains and demonstrate the practical application of data continuity from engineering to manufacturing. The Application Centers provide industry professionals with an opportunity to experience the efficiency of software and automation technology before making investments.
