Rittal discontinues AE/EB/KL enclosure lines
Industrial enclosure manufacturer Rittal is discontinuing production of its AE, EB, and KL enclosure lines in North America effective September 1, 2020. New AX/KX models will replace them.
Industrial enclosure manufacturer Rittal will cease production of its AE, EB, and KL product lines in North America on September 1, 2020. The company is transitioning to its newer AX/KX enclosure series, which it states offers faster assembly and enhanced safety features.
Customers have until August 31, 2020, to place final orders for standard AE, EB, and KL products. Rittal indicated that any new orders received after this date may be converted to the AX or KX product lines where feasible.
Stocking of AE, EB, and KL products has ended as remaining inventory is depleted. Rittal also noted that orders received after the August 31 deadline will be non-returnable, and current pricing for the older lines will be reviewed for any such orders.
The company stated it apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the transition and encourages customers with questions to contact their technical advisors.
