Rittal Introduces AX Fiberglass Enclosures for Harsh Outdoor Use
Rittal North America has launched its new AX Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester line of enclosures. The enclosures are designed to protect electrical components in demanding outdoor environments.
Rittal North America has introduced its new AX Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester enclosure line, engineered to withstand harsh outdoor conditions.
The new enclosures replace the previous KS series and complement the AX series of sheet steel and stainless steel enclosures. They offer robust protection for electrical components in industrial settings and exposed outdoor locations.
"The new non-metallic member of the AX enclosure family is designed with the North American outdoor market in mind," said Slavco Anastosov, Rittal Industrial Solutions Product Manager. He noted the enclosures are robust and suitable for all outdoor applications, featuring high UV resistance (UL F1) and environmental protection (UL Type 4X).
Features include a double seal for rain and dust protection, easy front mounting of the back panel, and options for retrospective earthing. They also offer flexibility for interior installations and compatibility with various locking mechanisms. The line includes 14 different variants with high UV resistance.
