Rittal updates filters in roof fans
Rittal enhances energy efficiency and service intervals in its roof fans. New pleated filters increase airflow and extend filter lifespan.
Rittal has updated the filter technology in its roof fans to improve energy efficiency and product lifespan.
The change, effective from mid-May 2022, applies to all the company's roof fans, which will now be delivered with new pleated filters designed to enhance airflow and extend filter life.
These new pleated filters provide an increased airflow of 12% to 16%, which Rittal states reduces energy consumption and service costs. The extended lifespan also means longer intervals between required maintenance.
As a result of this update, the protection rating of the fans will change from IP55 to IP54. Rittal continues to offer previous filter mats (article number 3174.100) for applications requiring IP55 protection.
